For referring dentists

A referral partnership built on returning your patient to you.

Deepcar Dental Care accepts referrals from general dental practices across Sheffield and South Yorkshire for endodontics, surgical extractions and dental implants. Every patient is treated within the scope of your referral and returned to your practice for ongoing and routine care.

We exist to support general practices, not to compete with them. The patient you refer is, and remains, your patient.

Why refer to Deepcar

Considered specialist-level care, returned cleanly to your practice.

We built our referral pathway around the principle that referring dentists deserve the same clarity and respect we extend to patients. A clear scope of treatment, a defined endpoint, and a written summary you can act on at the next recall.

01

Patients returned to your practice

We treat only what you refer us for. Routine care, hygiene, monitoring and future treatment stay with you.

02

Written report after every visit

You receive a structured clinical summary, radiographs and treatment notes after assessment and at completion.

03

Defined scope, no scope creep

We do not introduce additional treatment plans to your patient. Anything outside the referral is discussed with you first.

04

Modern diagnostic workflow

CBCT imaging, digital radiography and digital implant planning support predictable, evidence-based decisions.

05

Calm, unhurried appointments

Longer assessment slots so your patient feels heard. We do not rush complex cases into short windows.

06

Transparent communication

One email address, one phone line, one clinical lead. No call centres, no patient-portal-only contact.

Referral services we accept

Three focused referral pathways.

We accept referrals for three treatment areas only. This focus allows us to maintain a high clinical standard, predictable timelines, and a workflow your patient can understand.

Pathway

01

Endodontics

Complex root canal treatment, retreatment and management of persistent endodontic pain. Cases assessed with magnification and rubber dam isolation throughout.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE BACK

Pre- and post-operative radiographs, treatment notes, a clear statement of prognosis, and a request for you to complete the final restoration within the agreed timeframe.

Typical referrals we accept

Pathway

02

Surgical & complex extractions

Assessment and removal of compromised teeth, broken roots, and teeth with restorative complications that fall outside routine practice.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE BACK

A post-operative report, healing review where indicated, and confirmation that the patient has been advised to return to your practice for all future general care.

Typical referrals we accept

Pathway

03

Dental implants

Single-tooth and multi-tooth implant rehabilitation, planned with CBCT and a digital workflow. Restorative phases can be returned to your practice if you wish to complete them yourself.

RESTORATIVE OPTIONS FOR YOU

You can refer for surgical placement only and complete the restorative phase yourself, or refer for the full pathway. We confirm scope with you in writing before treatment begins.

Typical referrals we accept

Meet the clinical team

The clinician who will treat your patient.

Your patient will be seen by a named clinician, named to you in advance. We do not rotate referred patients between unfamiliar operators between visits.

Dr Ibraheem Ijaz

Principal Dentist · Practice Owner

Dr Ijaz leads the implant and complex restorative referral pathway, with over 200 implants placed since 2022. His approach prioritises CBCT-guided planning, conservative biological principles and clear written communication with the referring practice.

The referral process

A clear four-step pathway, from referral to return.

Designed around two priorities: clinical thoroughness, and minimising the time you spend chasing updates.

STEP 01

Referral submitted

Submit your referral online, by secure email, or by phone in urgent cases. You receive acknowledgement within one working day.

STEP 02

Assessment booked

Your patient is contacted directly within 5–10 working days. Urgent endodontic pain is prioritised for same-week review where possible.

STEP 03

Treatment planned

Findings, options and fees are discussed with the patient. A written assessment report is sent to you. Treatment proceeds only after consent.

STEP 04

Patient returned to you

On completion, the patient is formally discharged back to your practice with a closing report, radiographs and any recommended recall interval.

Our promise to referring practices

Every patient you refer isreturned to your practice..

We do not register referred patients for routine examinations, hygiene appointments, cosmetic treatment or unrelated general care while they are under our care.
