I found this dentist on a Google search after starting with severe painful toothache. It’s 35 minutes from my home, but they could fit me in the same day. I am really nervous… Ibraheem was amazing, took time to settle my nerves and even offered sedation.

Sedation
About sedation for nervous patients
Dental anxiety is common and nothing to be embarrassed about. Many of our patients had not seen a dentist for years before they came to us, and our reviews are full of people who describe themselves as terrified. Sedation is one of several tools we use, alongside unhurried appointments, clear explanations and a stop signal you control.
Conscious sedation is given under careful monitoring. You stay awake and able to talk, but deeply relaxed, and most people remember little of the appointment afterwards. You will need someone to take you home.

Questions, answered
Sedation for nervous patients: your questions
Will I be asleep?
No. Conscious sedation is not a general anaesthetic. You remain awake and responsive but deeply relaxed, and usually remember very little.
Is it safe?
Yes, when provided by trained clinicians with monitoring, which is how it is done here. A medical history review confirms suitability first.
Can I drive afterwards?
No. You must have a responsible adult to take you home and stay with you for the rest of the day.
In their own words
Rated 5.0 on Google.
Every review, five stars.
Deepcar Dental Surgery came up in my search, even though we are in Doncaster. I had my reservations with them not being local to us, but after reading the reviews and how highly they are recommended, we went — and I am so glad we did.
I am absolutely terrified of dentists, but when I needed a tooth extraction the staff at Deepcar were fantastic. They understood my fears, were kind, compassionate and professional, and helped me stay calm.
