Whitening is the simplest way to change how your smile looks, and when it is supervised by a dentist it is safe, predictable and comfortable. We check your teeth and gums first, because whitening on top of decay, cracks or gum disease causes sensitivity and poor results.
We offer two systems. Enlighten combines a period of home whitening with an in-practice session and is the treatment we recommend when you want a guaranteed level of brightness. Our home whitening system uses custom-made trays and dentist-strength gel over two to three weeks at your own pace.

The journey
An examination confirms your teeth and gums are healthy enough to whiten and records your starting shade.
We scan or take impressions and make trays that fit only your teeth, so the gel stays where it should and sensitivity is minimised.
Two to three weeks of home whitening, with an in-practice session for Enlighten patients, then a review to confirm your final shade.

No. Dentist-supervised whitening using regulated gels does not damage enamel. Some patients notice temporary sensitivity, which settles quickly and can be managed with the products we provide.
Most patients achieve several shades brighter. Enlighten is designed to reach the brightest natural shade predictably. We will show you realistic expectations at your assessment.
No. Whitening only changes natural tooth structure, which is why we whiten before replacing or bonding front teeth.
One to three years depending on diet and habits, and it can be topped up at home with your existing trays.
