Dental care is delivered by people — but responsibility, safety, and outcomes depend on how a clinical team is structured, led, and governed.
At Deepcar Dental Care, treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team of dentists and dental care professionals working within clearly defined clinical roles. All care is delivered under a diagnosis-led framework, with clear accountability for decision-making, patient safety, and treatment standards.
This page explains who delivers your care, how responsibilities are structured, and how our team works together across emergency and planned dentistry.
Clinical care at Deepcar Dental Care is led by Dr Ibraheem Ijaz, Principal Dentist and Practice Owner.
Dr Ijaz holds overall responsibility for:
He has advanced postgraduate training in restorative, implant, and digital dentistry and oversees how diagnosis-led care is delivered across both urgent and non-urgent treatments.
Clinical leadership at the practice is not delegated anonymously. Accountability is clear, visible, and continuous.
Our dentists provide care within defined scopes of practice and shared clinical standards. Each clinician contributes to emergency, restorative, or planned care depending on training, experience, and case requirements.
Dr Ibraheem Ijaz is the Founder, Principal Dentist, and Practice Owner of Deepcar Dental Care. He leads the practice with a clear clinical philosophy: dentistry should be calm, transparent, and built around long-term outcomes rather than rushed decisions.
With a strong academic foundation from the University of Leeds and advanced postgraduate training in implant, restorative, and aesthetic dentistry, Dr Ijaz combines evidence-based clinical precision with a reassuring, patient-centred approach. His work is guided by clarity, predictability, and empathy — particularly for patients who feel anxious or uncertain about dental treatment.
Dr Ijaz’s clinical work centres on treatments that restore both function and confidence, including:
Patients consistently describe Dr Ijaz as calm, thorough, and approachable. He takes time to explain findings clearly, discuss options honestly, and prioritise durable outcomes over short-term fixes.
Since becoming Practice Owner in 2025, Dr Ijaz has shaped Deepcar Dental Care into a practice rooted in trust, clinical excellence, and community values. His aim is to deliver dentistry that patients understand, feel comfortable with, and can rely on long term — supported by advanced training, modern technology, and clear clinical systems.
George graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2020 after training at the Charles Clifford Dental School. He is passionate about helping patients achieve outcomes that suit their individual needs and takes time to translate concerns into clear, tailored treatment plans.
He has a particular strength in supporting dentally anxious patients, creating a calm and reassuring environment for both consultations and treatment. Alongside general dentistry, George focuses on minimally invasive dentistry and smile enhancements such as tooth whitening. He also has a special interest in sports dentistry and works regularly with international athletes.
George is committed to ongoing professional development and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Aesthetic & Restorative Dentistry in London.

Nik graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003 and has remained strongly committed to continuous professional development throughout his career. He believes that precision, accuracy, and attention to detail are the foundations of high-quality private dental care.
A key element of Nik’s clinical approach is the use of advanced magnification with a dental microscope, allowing enhanced visibility and control — particularly valuable in complex cases. In 2010, he completed a postgraduate certificate in root canal treatment, enabling him to manage challenging endodontic procedures with confidence and care. In recognition of his clinical standards, he became a full member of the College of General Dental Practitioners (MCGDent) in 2012.

Dental problems often move through different stages — from urgent assessment to stabilisation and, where appropriate, definitive care.
Our team follows a structured clinical pathway:
Assessment → Diagnosis → Stabilisation → Definitive Care (when appropriate)
This means:
Clinicians collaborate internally where needed, ensuring that care remains proportionate, evidence-based, and aligned with long-term outcomes rather than short-term fixes.
You can learn more about how this structure works in practice through our emergency dentistry information resources.
All clinicians at Deepcar Dental Care are appropriately qualified and registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) where applicable.
The practice operates as a regulated UK dental provider and follows professional, ethical, and legal obligations, including:
