Wakefield has one of the busiest implant markets in West Yorkshire and the advertising shows it. Headline offers run from a single implant "from £1,600" to a full arch "from £9,995", and one or two pages quote a price per tooth so low that it can only be one share of a bridge. Some say "basic bone grafting included" without saying what basic means or what happens when yours is not basic. Consultations are cheap or free, which is fine, but a consultation that ends in a one-line price is not a quote. Few pages tell you how many implants each dentist has placed.
Deepcar Dental Care is a private practice in Deepcar, near Stocksbridge, about 40 minutes from Wakefield down the M1 and the A616. Every implant plan here is itemised in writing, so you can lay it beside a Wakefield quote line by line. The surgery and the crown are both done by Dr Ibraheem Ijaz, who has placed more than 200 implants since 2022 and holds a postgraduate diploma in implant dentistry. Prices are public on the fees page, and the practice is open 8am to 8pm seven days a week with free parking.
A quote that is £600 cheaper but leaves out a £150 scan, a £200 temporary tooth and a £500 graft is not cheaper. Go through any quote, including ours, with these nine questions.

One last check: is the number a "from" price or your price? A from-price is what the simplest possible case costs. Our £2,400 single implant is a from-price too, and the point of the scan and the written plan is to turn it into your number before you spend anything beyond the consultation. Join the M1 at junction 39 or 40 and head south for about twenty miles to junction 35A. Take the A616 west towards Stocksbridge, leave the bypass at the Stocksbridge and Deepcar exit and follow Manchester Road; the practice is at number 334 with free parking outside. Allow 40 minutes, and avoid setting off between 4pm and 6pm when the M1 around Barnsley crawls. The surgeries are on the ground floor, and if you would rather not drive, the nearest railway station to the practice is at Chapeltown, with buses along Manchester Road from Sheffield.

For an itemised price, one named dentist for surgery and crown, a CBCT scanner on site, and appointments seven days a week. If a clinic nearer Wakefield gives you all four in writing, you have a genuine comparison and we will not argue.
We can give you the from-prices and talk through your situation by phone or WhatsApp, but a real quote needs the examination and scan. Anyone who quotes you a firm figure from a photo is guessing.
It covers the implant, abutment, crown and follow-ups. Add £100 for the consultation (refunded against treatment), £150 for the scan, and grafting only if the scan shows you need it. Nothing else.
Ask what "free" covers and what happens if you need more. A small graft at placement is quick and cheap; a sinus lift is neither. A clear price for each is more useful than a vague inclusion.

Yes. Consultations and implant appointments are available at weekends and in the evenings, and the M1 south from Wakefield is usually clear on a Saturday morning.
