Stocksbridge has a dental practice on its own high street that offers aligner consultations, but its website gives no price, no idea of how long treatment takes and no name for the dentist who would do it. It also shuts at five on weekdays and does not open at weekends, which is awkward if you work shifts at the steelworks or retail hours at Fox Valley.
Deepcar Dental Care is five minutes along Manchester Road. We publish our fee, £1,495 per arch, and we can show you a simulated result on a screen at your first visit. The same dentist sees you at every appointment. We are open 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday, so a review before an early shift or after a late one is routine. Head out of Stocksbridge on Manchester Road towards Sheffield. Pass the turn for Fox Valley and continue along the A6102; the practice is at number 334 on your right as you come into Deepcar, five minutes from the town centre and well before Oughtibridge. Yes. Reviews are ten to fifteen minutes and we open 8am to 8pm every day including Sundays, so a slot before a day shift or after an afternoon shift is easy to find.
That is your call, but the honest comparison is this: five minutes further, a fee you can read before you phone, seven-day opening and the same dentist at every visit. Ask both practices the same questions and choose.
Usually seven to nine over four to nine months: examination, scan, fitting, four or five reviews, and the retainer fitting. A refinement scan adds one more.
No. You change aligners yourself at home every one to two weeks, following the sequence on the pouches. You only come in for the six-to-eight-weekly checks.
Go back to the previous aligner and call us; wearing nothing lets the teeth drift. We can usually see you the same day and either move you on to the next set or order a replacement.
